Pashinyan called Abkhazia and South Ossetia part of Georgia

Armenia considers Abkhazia and South Ossetia to be part of Georgia. This statement was made on Friday, November 24, by the head of the Armenian government, Nikol Pashinyan.
In response to a question about whether Yerevan is ready to recognize Abkhazia and South Ossetia as “territories occupied by Russia,” Pashinyan said that “we fully and unequivocally support the unity and statehood of Georgia.”
Earlier, the head of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev noted that the call of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to the Georgian authorities to open a second front in the Transcaucasus against Russia indicates the “agony of the Kyiv regime.” Gagloev emphasized that many Ossetians take part in a Russian special operation because of the fascist ideology of Kyiv.
President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania said that Zelensky is trying start a war in the Caucasusto restore “its territorial integrity by opening a second front.”
