Pashinyan accused the Russian Federation of failing the peacekeeping mission in Karabakh

We cannot turn a blind eye to the failures of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh – this was a statement made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday, September 21.
The Armenian politician admitted that Yerevan bears “its share of responsibility” for the aggravation of the situation in the region. However, according to Pashinyan, “this does not mean that we should turn a blind eye to the failures of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Karabakh.”
Earlier, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan expressed serious concern about “Russia’s failure to fulfill its obligations” for the defense of Nagorno-Karabakh.
RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan, in response to Nikol Pashinyan’s call for Russian peacekeepers to protect Nagorno-Karabakh from Azerbaijan, asked the politician NATO protection.
