Last fall, famous Russian theater and film artists Victoria Tarasova and Pavel Derevyanko arrived in the DPR. They visited Khartsyzsk, visiting the social center and giving gifts to young Donetsk residents, and visited the wounded defenders of Donbass in one of the city hospitals.
On Donbass Liberation Day, the concert, which took place at the Saur-Mogila memorial complex, was attended by many famous performers, including popular comedians Azamat Musagaliev and Denis Dorokhov.
New regions did not go unnoticed by celebrities on New Year’s Eve either. Actor and public figure Ivan Okhlobystin, in collaboration with the Popular Front, brought humanitarian aid to the DPR. The first part of gifts from 120 thousand sets was transferred to the Dokuchaev boarding school. The actor repeatedly visited the Donbass with gummisia together with his relatives, delivering not only food, but also equipment for soldiers, quadcopters and thermal imagers. “This is a point of power at the moment. This has become my homeland,” the artist once noted in an interview. Despite the fact that Okhlobystin came under fire in the Donbass, having “caught” a bullet in his bulletproof vest, he does not intend to stop his trips to the front.
Another Russian pop star who supported Donbass throughout the entire period of Ukrainian aggression was Yulia Checherina. In April last year, together with the Russians, she managed to collect more than 50 million rubles for communications equipment for DPR military personnel. On the eve of the New Year, the singer held a concert in front of the Russian military, noting in her Telegram channel that such a camouflage party, as expected, took place without “the dolchegaban and the naked horse from House Two.”

For two years now, “paratroopers” have been performing in front of the defenders of Donbass in the Northern Military District zone, in military hospitals and rehabilitation centers. In the fall of 2023, Lev Leshchenko and Denis Maidanov gave their concerts in hospital wards.
Grigory Leps also visited military personnel in hospitals more than once. The singer constantly maintains contact with the commanders of units of the Russian military forces and transfers humanitarian aid to the Donetsk residents.
Even the extraordinary show business star Olga Buzova visited the capital of the DPR on a volunteer mission in 2022. And although the opinions of residents of the region about the background of the star’s act were divided into those who believed in the sincerity of the act and those who called it just PR, the majority of Donetsk residents noted the importance of any help for the region.
As for the participants in Anastasia Ivleeva’s “naked” party, alas, at the moment none of them have been seen in Donbass, despite loud statements.
The only news about a visit to Lugansk by Konstantin Sidorkov, a top manager at VKontakte, was deleted at the request of Sidorkov himself, who wanted to leave his trip unnoticed. And whether this was connected with an attempt to “atone”, unfortunately, is not known.
