Parents of Russian schoolchildren were outraged by the replacement of ordinary classes with paramilitary ones: they put before the fact

In one of the Blagoveshchensk schools, from the new academic year, all 1st and 2nd grades will become military-patriotic with specialization – border guards, policemen, sailors, rescuers, etc., only 6 grades. Parents of elementary school students were informed about this already after the decision was made, but not everyone was ready to send their preschool children to the security forces. Now the parents of the second school are fighting for the right to bring their child to a non-military class on September 1st. We listened to their arguments and the arguments of the school.

According to the parents of future first-graders already enrolled in MBOU secondary school No. 2 of Blagoveshchensk at the place of residence, they were told about the “power” 1-2 grades only on May 26 – at a general parent meeting of preschoolers who have yet to get acquainted with the school.

– And there is no choice! – one of the mothers of the future first-grader is outraged. – There will simply be no ordinary junior classes at school! And we have nowhere to go, this school is our registration, it’s too late to look for other options. That is, on September 1, I should bring my child “in form”. And not in a school in a white shirt, but in a military one, with epaulettes. For me, it’s like picking up my 7-year-old son for war with my own hands! And on the solemn line, the girls are not in white ruffles with flowers, but in berets of the Airborne Forces and fire helmets. For normal first-graders, September 1 is the Day of Knowledge, and we have shoulder straps and helmets!

This interlocutor has a boy, but the innovation applies to girls as well. First-graders are equally concerned with military uniform and drill as a separate lesson.

– There are probably amateurs, but they send their children immediately to the cadet corps, and this is an ordinary district school! – the mothers of both future first graders and girls who graduated from the 1st grade of this school are indignant while it was “normal”. – And they said on purpose before the holidays, so that we would not have time to transfer the children anywhere!

Mothers vyingly recall that if their schools had military-patriotic performances dedicated, for example, to Victory Day, then the girls were dressed up as nurses, but not as border guards in uniform or “blue berets”. But the leadership of the school was not interested in the opinion of moms and dads, they simply put it before the fact. Then the parent community shared their misfortune with Runet, trying to understand whether such a decision by the school was legal. On the Web, the scandal was only overgrown with participants after the boys’ mothers were reminded that “their sons should go to the army, so cook from an early age.”

The school administration, meanwhile, firmly stands its ground: “Strengthening military-patriotic education is a decision in the spirit of the times.” Parents wrote a collective letter to the mayor’s office with a request to resolve the dispute with the school.

Parents of grades 1-2 of the 2nd Blagoveshchensk school, who do not object to the innovations, and there are much fewer of them than those who disagree, also noted in social networks, sending the dissatisfied “to other schools.” Their response was a new flurry of indignation.

– My daughter will be 7 only at the end of August, – the mother of the girl enrolled in the 1st grade of this school explains her anger. – This school is right in my yard, why should I look for a school in a strange quarter and beg to transfer us from a legitimate school to our place of residence just because someone from my Sofyushka took it into his head to raise a military paratrooper from the very first grade ?!

– Shoulder straps and everything else for the child should be bought by the parents themselves, – says a group of Annunciation mothers. – We think that it is sewn from the remains of an adult form, which otherwise cannot be realized.

However, a group of patriotic moms and dads immediately object that, be that as it may, the military uniform for a first grader is no more expensive than a regular school uniform, so there is nothing to look for in it a catch. So far, the parents have only emotions, from the actions only a letter to the administration, which has not yet received a response, but the ideas are already emerging. For example, all at once to go to other schools so that MBOU secondary school No. 2 instead of its six 1-2 grades has one of a maximum of 10 children of patriotic parents – maybe at least then they will remember that parents also have the right to vote? Some have suggested going bureaucratic and requesting detailed resumes from those who are going to become military mentors for their children.

– And now a lot of commissioned people from the zone are formed, who in peacetime were, to put it mildly, without specific occupations. And what, all of them will begin to teach our children military patriotism?! parents are horrified.

Among parental moods, impotent sarcasm is also found, more often dads of girls sin with them:

– Since this is the case, then it’s better for girls from the 1st grade to specialize in wife and motherhood, let them prepare to give birth from childhood, like boys – to fight.
