From May 1, parcels weighing up to 10 kg to participants in the military operation in Ukraine are delivered free of charge. The decision was made on the eve of Victory Day on May 9. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko.

“On the eve of Victory Day, it is especially important that servicemen feel the attention and care from friends and relatives. We have made a decision and given relevant instructions so that parcels weighing up to 10 kg are delivered free of charge to the participants of the CBO. This measure is effective from May 1, 2023,”— said Dmitry Chernyshenko during a trip to Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

According to him, the instructions have been sent to all post offices of the country, including Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, the DPR, LPR and Crimea. The number of parcels up to 10 kg that one person can send is not limited.
