Pamfilova: all those detained for damaging ballot papers will not escape responsibility

Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation Ella Pamfilova believes that all those detained for damaging ballots in the presidential elections of the Russian Federation will not escape responsibility. If their connection with TsIPsO and the SBU is revealed, then the violators will face criminal liability.

The head of the commission noted during the briefing that “we are working closely with law enforcement agencies” on this matter. Measures are taken immediately, she emphasized.

“Not a single fool, a lawbreaker, much less a scumbag, will leave,” Pamfilova said. According to her, all detainees will not escape responsibility. “Most likely from the criminal,” she warned. “If a connection is revealed, including with the SBU, TsIPsO and others.”

Previously Pamfilova indicated that calls with instructions to spoil ballots come from call centers located in Ukraine and some EU countries.
