Ozon, CYAN and HeadHunter sign charter of ethics for classifieds

Russian companies have signed an ethics charter for ad placement services (classifieds), developed by ANO Tsifrovaya ekonomika. About it informs TASS.

It is noted that the signing of the document took place at the site of the ANO. Among the signatories to the ethics charter are Ozon, CYAN,Yandex.Verticals”, HeadHunter, YouDo and Drome.

The document outlines the basic principles that classifiers should follow. In particular, these are the protection of personal data, legality and openness, cooperation, as well as strengthening content moderation on the sites. The companies also promised to exchange experience with each other.

This charter was developed by ANO Tsifrovaya ekonomika in cooperation with the industry and regulators. “It is designed to lay down the key principles of socially responsible self-regulation of the ad placement industry in order to develop and improve on their basis a mutually beneficial and safe environment for interaction between consumers and businesses,” — explained General Director of the organization Sergey Plugotarenko December 12.

He also expressed hope that the industry and the state will support the initiative with a code of ethics.
