In 2023, work continued in Kamchatka to create conditions that provide equal opportunities for citizens to lead a healthy lifestyle, systematically engage in physical education and mass sports, and train sports reserves and high-class athletes. In accordance with the national project “Demography” of the federal project “Sports as a Norm of Life” and the national goal “preservation of the population, health and well-being of people”, the tasks of creating conditions for physical education and sports, mass sports, including increasing the level of provision of the population with sports facilities, as well as the preparation of a sports reserve.
The following key results were achieved:
– construction has been completed and a martial arts gym in Yelizovo has been opened to the public;
– a small GTO sports ground has been created in the Aleutian Municipal District, which is freely available to the population;
– nine sports training organizations purchased sports equipment, equipment and equipment for skiing, biathlon, taekwondo, cross-country skiing, kickboxing, swimming for a total amount of 17.8 million rubles, which made it possible to maintain a network of sports schools, the number of children involved in them and increase quality of sports reserve training.
In 2023, 11 sports facilities were created, including a martial arts hall in the city of Yelizovo and 10 sports grounds in the Yelizovo, Olyutorsky, Sobolevsky and Tigilsky municipal districts, the Aleutsky and Milkovsky municipal districts, and the Vilyuchinsky urban district. The construction of a sports hall is being completed in the village of Kozyrevsk and in the village. Sobolevo.
The level of provision of the population with sports facilities, based on the one-time capacity of sports facilities, amounted to 87.4% of the calculated federal standard.
The tasks being solved made it possible to involve more than 150 thousand people in systematic physical education and sports, which amounted to 51.2% of the total population aged 3 to 79 years (2022 – 141,659 people or 48.4%).
