More than a hundred authors will present their works at the 35th Moscow International Book Fair (MIFF), which will open at the Gostiny Dvor exhibition complex and take place on this site from September 2 to 5.
“More than 300 publishing houses will be represented throughout the territory of Gostiny Dvor, more than 350 events will be held. Publishing houses from the regions of Russia and from Armenia, Belarus, Germany, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and China will take part in the fair. These events are planned both in remote and face-to-face formats.
Andrey Gelmiza, director of the Moscow International Film Festival, said that the fair will be held in Gostiny Dvor for the first time. According to the curator of the fair Olga Prokhorova, in total 185 authors participate in its programs, 133 events will be held. She noted that now the organizers of the MIFF decided not to divide the venues into genres of literature.
