Over 100 million users use Google One subscription – Kommersant

American corporation Google announcedGoogle One, which provides additional space for free apps like Gmail, Drive or Photos, is used by over 100 million people. Another Google service, YouTube Music, also reported reaching 100 million users in February 2024.

Google One was launched in 2018 and offered users of Google services an upgrade to paid options, given additional cloud space and exclusive features. The company also stopped free unlimited Photos plans in 2021, forcing users to sign up for Google One if photos took up more than 15GB of storage. Last week, Google launched Google One AI Premium, a paid service that provides access to advanced features of the Gemini chatbot.

Previously Google announcedthat by default, correspondence with the Gemini chatbot on Android and iOS will be stored for three years – the associated data will also be saved: the user’s device and its location, as well as the language of communication.
