The Oryol State University hockey team showed an excellent performance, winning two games against MADI in the Student Hockey League.
In both meetings, the OryolSU team faced strong resistance from players from Moscow. In the first periods of both games, the team from Oryol State University was inferior. However, thanks to impressive efforts and a high level of play, the Oryol hockey players managed to turn the tide of the game. As a result, they won, scoring 5 goals in each game. This success allowed the team to score 13 points and rise to fifth place in the overall tournament standings.
According to the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Oryol Region, the next matches of the Student Hockey League (SHL) tournament for HC “OrelGU” will take place on their home ice, where the team will meet with students from Smolensk on February 10 and 11. These games foreshadow an interesting and exciting competition.
