Hockey players of the Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” have been playing in the regular championship of the MHL for the 2023-2024 season for several months now. The team from Nizhny Novgorod is the current holder of the Kharlamov Cup and shows excellent results, settling in the first half of the Golden Division standings. At the moment, “Chaika” ranks 4th in the “Golden” division standings, having scored 53 points based on the results of 40 matches played. In the standings, Alexey Isakov’s team is second only to rivals from Omsk, Khanty-Mansiysk and Chelyabinsk.
On January 29, the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod “Chaika” announced the final home series of the Torpedo youth team in the regular championship of the MHL season 2023-2024. Young hockey players from Nizhny Novgorod have only 4 matches left to play on home ice. On February 1 and 2, Chaika will compete with the Steel Foxes, and on February 5 and 6, the Polar Bears will come to Nizhny Novgorod. After this, “Chaika” will play 6 games in a row on the road against opponents from the “Golden” and “Silver” divisions.
Let us remind you that the first match of the MHL regular season between “Chaika” and “Steel Foxes” will take place on February 1. The meeting is scheduled to start at 18:00 Moscow time.
