Orban also pointed to uncertainty about the size of Ukraine’s territory and its population after the conflict ends.
The Hungarian Prime Minister stressed that the decision to begin negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU must be made carefully and after answering long and difficult questions. This decision, in his opinion, should be well-founded and considered taking into account all aspects.
Previously, the European Commission put forward seven demands for Ukraine to maintain its EU candidate status.
