His Repsol-Honda team announced this Wednesday via a press release: the 29-year-old motorcyclist had a conclusive medical examination on the condition of his right arm, and therefore received the approval of his doctor, Doctor Sanchez Sotelo. , to take control of his racing car. “Marc has regained a good capacity for movement and has recovered well at the muscular level”in particular specified the latter, adding that the consolidation of the bone of the pilot was now complete.

Marc Marquez has been absent from the circuits since the beginning of June, after once again injuring his right arm during qualifying for the Italian GP (which he had nevertheless run and finished). A few days later, the Spaniard had decided to undergo a fourth operation of the right arm. “The idea is to come back and prepare for 2023”he said then.
But before the Austrian Grand Prix last Sunday, Marc Marquez was more optimistic and confided his intention to “Run a few races by the end of the season”. “As soon as I feel ready, I will come back, because it is important to prepare for next season”he specified.
Marc Marquez, who has been dragging this injury since July 2020 and the consequences of a too rapid recovery, has already missed five GPs this season (Catalonia, Germany, Netherlands, Great Britain, Austria). There are seven races left until the end of the season in early November.
