The launch of the GPT Store was planned for December this year, but has now been pushed back to early 2024. More exact dates have not been specified. The letter notes that the launch of the online store was postponed due to “several unexpected events” that took up the company’s time.
OpenAl announced the launch of the GPT Store in November. It provides access to various modified versions of ChatGPT designed for specific purposes. Users will be able to create their own versions of GPT based on OpenAl technologies. If they are approved, they will become available to everyone in the GPT Store. The company will pay a portion of its revenue to the creators of the “most useful and most used” versions.
