Open All-Russian children’s and youth para-badminton competitions were held in Serpukhov

From March 29 to April 1, the Open All-Russian children’s and youth para-badminton competitions for the prizes of the All-Russian Sports Federation for Persons with Musculoskeletal Disabilities were held at the Nadezhda Sports Palace in the Bolshevik village of the Serpukhov urban district.
More than 40 children from various regions of the Russian Federation took part in them.
The national team of the Moscow region included athletes from the “Equal Opportunities” club of the city of Serpukhov Ksenia Lonkina, Dmitry Tkachuk, Polina Alyakina, athletes from other cities near Moscow, children from the inclusive school “Absolute” (Serpukhov).
Athletes from the Moscow national team showed good results and won several gold medals.
Athletes from the Equal Opportunities club achieved the following results:
Dmitry Tkachuk:
1st place – (singles among boys, class SL4);
3rd place – (doubles, boys, sports class SU5);
2nd place – (mixed doubles, boys, girls class SL3-SU5);
Yan Biryukov:
2nd place – (singles among boys, class SL4);
Yulia Zhivava:
3rd place – (girls’ doubles, class SH6);
Polina Alyakina:
3rd place (singles, girls, sports class SL3);
Lonkina Ksenia:
1st place – (mixed doubles, boys, girls class SL3-SU5);
3rd place – (doubles, boys, girls class SL3-SU5).
