54% of civilian doctors are ready to provide military field assistance, the newspaper reported. Vedomosti with reference to the survey of the medical decision support platform “Physician’s Handbook”. Another 38% of doctors believe that they can provide such assistance only after special training courses. 7% believe that medical education allows them to work in any conditions.

For 38.5% of the surveyed doctors, the military position and military registration specialty coincide with the received medical education. Another 36% of doctors assigned the military specialty of middle or junior medical staff. For 8%, the military specialty is not related to medicine. 18% found it difficult to answer.

79% of the doctors surveyed supported the return of military departments to medical institutions. 79% of those who supported the military departments believe that civilian doctors should be able to provide assistance in any situation. 14% are confident that military departments will provide additional knowledge and skills to work in civilian medicine. Another 6% hope that this will lead to an increase in the number of military doctors.

21% of physicians did not support the return of military chairs. 62.5% think that military departments will not allow civilian doctors to develop the required level of knowledge. Another 37.5% proposed instead of military departments to conduct courses in military field surgery and other similar courses.
