Newsweek: Russia has learned that the West has almost no MANPADS Stringer for the Armed Forces
The Newsweek publication points out in its material that the West, in fact, ran out of stocks of Stinger MANPADS in order to painlessly transfer these weapons to Ukraine, and Russia now knows this.
Military expert Allan Orr told the publication that the absence of Stingers affects the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, because without airspace control it is very difficult to overcome minefields and resist artillery.
The article emphasizes that the United States has already begun to attract engineers over 70 years old to ramp up production of the Stinger.
