“This will increase the availability of drug supply for patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This measure will provide children and adults with cancer with the necessary treatment within the framework of the compulsory medical insurance program,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement (quoted from TASS).
Oncaspar is an expensive drug for the treatment of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It is not registered in Russia and has no domestic analogues.
