On the TV channel “Russia” starts the series “Midwife. New episodes”

March 13 at 21.20 on the TV channel “Russia” will premiere the serial melodrama “Midwife. New episodes”. The talented obstetrician Tatyana Skvortsova, played by Irina Pegova, will again have to make fateful decisions, look for answers to the most delicate questions of her patients, and each time, together with them, rejoice at the birth of a new person.

Tatyana Skvortsova (Irina Pegova) becomes the head of the maternity ward of a large multidisciplinary hospital in Ozersk. Formally, this is a demotion, but Tatyana is happy: she no longer needs to solve administrative issues, but she can finally return to her favorite business – helping babies be born into the world. And the best part is that her colleague and lover Sergei Zuev (Yaroslav Boyko) is nearby. They are happy and do not part either at home or at work. But one day a fire breaks out in the department, and its consequences turn Tatiana’s whole life upside down. Now she has to save not only newborns and their mothers, but also her own family.

In the new series, viewers will see even more complex and interesting medical stories that take place not only in the maternity, but also in other departments of the clinic. And no matter how “burning” the main character at her favorite job, she still wants to arrange her personal life and find simple female happiness. But when a real detective unfolds within the walls of the hospital and an investigation is underway, this is not so easy to do.

The main role – obstetrician Tatyana Skvortsova – in the series is played by Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Irina Pegova. From the first episodes, her heroine fell in love with millions of viewers of the Rossiya TV channel. “Irina is very organic in this role,” says the director of the film, Stanislav Libin, “she is not just a talented actress, she is also a high-level professional and therefore completely immerses herself in the role, completely surrenders to her, really learns how to handle tools, stitches … And all this is very visible on the screen. Therefore, many viewers seriously think that Ira really takes birth. Is this not a manifestation of the highest professionalism of the artist?

Filming of the new season took place in Minsk, in private clinics and paid maternity hospitals. The film crew filmed in real hospital corridors, offices and operating rooms, where at that time there were real patients in the wards next door. Therefore, the main condition during filming was to work as quietly as possible so as not to interfere with women in labor. The roles of newborn babies were filmed by real babies, and this was another difficult task, because the film crew had to adjust to the baby’s mode and “catch” on camera how he eats, sleeps or is awake. And the most difficult scene was the fire scene: it had to be filmed in five completely different locations, and then put together in such a way that everything happened in one place.
