Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev signed a decree on additional security measures when crossing the border with the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics (LPR and DPR), reports press office governments of the region.
According to the decree, entry and exit at the border with the Donetsk People’s Republic is possible only through a number of automobile checkpoints: Kuibyshevo (Marinovka), Matveev Kurgan, Veselo-Voznesenka, the Uspenskaya railway checkpoint and the Avilo border crossing point -Fedorovka” (Uspenka station), “Shramko” (Ulyanovsk).
Crossing the border with the Lugansk People’s Republic is possible only through automobile checkpoints in Donetsk (Izvarino), Gukovo, Novoshakhtinsk, Chertkovo, at the railway checkpoint “Gukovo” and at the border crossing points “Titovka” (Aleksandrovka), “Mozhaevka” (Gerasimovka), “Donetsk” (Northern), “Donetsk” (Krasnodar), “Nizhny Shvyrev” (Krasnodar), “Upper Shvyrev” (Upper Gerasimovka), “Lower Orekhovka” (Popovka), “Alekseevo-Tuzlovka” (Novoborovtsy). For persons participating in restoration work on the territory of the LPR, it is possible to pass through the Voloshino checkpoint.
Travel outside the specified points is prohibited.
When crossing borders, it is necessary to provide identification documents: a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, a diplomatic passport, a service passport, a birth certificate (for persons under the age of 14), an identity card of a Russian Federation serviceman or a military ID.
