From February 17 to February 26, the traditional street festival “Moscow Maslenitsa” will be held in the capital. This was reported on the official website of the mayor of Moscow.
At 23 festival venues, it will be possible to try a variety of types of pancakes traditional for different regions of Russia, as well as purchase delicacies and souvenirs, take part in master classes and learn a lot of interesting things about the traditions and crafts of the peoples of our country. For example, on Revolution Square and Tverskaya Square, festival guests will be taught the basics of artistic painting, weaving and weaving. And at the festival site in Gorky Park, you can try yourself in the Kuznetsk business. You can also go ice skating at 19 festival sites. In addition, on February 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26 Tatyana Navka’s show program “Dance about us” will be held at the skating rink on Revolution Square.
The broad cultural program of the festival includes performances by folk ensembles, folk groups and Cossack choirs.
The central venues of the festival will be open from 11.00 to 21.00 on weekdays and from 10.00 to 22.00 on weekends and holidays. Venues in counties will close one hour earlier on weekends.
