On December 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin will go on a working trip to the Pskov region, during which he will visit the Titan-Polymer plant. About it informs Kremlin press office.
It is noted that the head of state will also meet with the regional governor Mikhail Vedernikov.
According to data on the Kremlin website, the last time Putin met with Vedernikov in September 2021. Then the issues of combating coronavirus in the Russian Federation and the socio-economic problems of the region were discussed.
The Titan-Polymer plant is being sold on the territory of the Moglino Special Economic Zone. It is planned to put it into operation in 2023. The enterprise will produce polyethylene terephthalate, fibers, films and non-woven materials. It is noted that the project will ensure the import substitution of medical and special-purpose products.
In June, Vedernikov announced that the launch of the production of BOPET films at the plant is planned for 2022. In September, Vice Governor Ninel Salagayeva notedthat the authorities of the region expect that after the launch of the enterprise, the volume of private investment will be at least 17.6 billion rubles. In addition, more than 500 jobs are expected to be created in the region. The company clarified that up to 2,000 jobs will be in related industries in the region.
In June 2022, General Director of the Titan-Polymer plant German Petrushko got a commemorative medal “For a disinterested contribution to the organization of the All-Russian Mutual Assistance Action” #WeTogether” and a letter from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
