HC Avangard made an exchange with the capital’s Spartak. Striker Dmitry Solovyov will move to the Moscow club, and 25-year-old Mark Verba will play for the Hawks.
“Verba is a power forward who can both stand up for his teammates and put pressure on his opponents. He is distinguished by dedication and character, these qualities are extremely important,” said General Manager of HC Avangard Anton Kuryanov.
Anton Kuryanov also noted that Verba is motivated to prove himself in the Omsk team.
In eighty matches in the KHL, Mark Verba scored seven (6+1) points. As the press service of HC Avangard reported, the contract with him is valid until the end of the season, the hockey player will play under number 43.
