Olympic basketball champions will conduct a master class for Sakhalin athletes. The regional Ministry of Sports spoke about this.
As part of the Far Eastern finals of the IES-BASKET school basketball league in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, professional skills lessons will be held from Olympic basketball champions Svetlana Antipova and Irina Sumnikova, as well as European champion Alexey Savrasenko.
“They will hold a master class and an autograph session for young basketball players in the region, and on the final day, March 17, they will take part in a friends’ match and an award ceremony for the championship winners,” the ministry noted.
Also, everyone who comes to the final match of the league will be able to communicate with the champions. The opportunity to get an autograph from the legends of Russian basketball will be on March 17 at the Vostok Training Center. The event will start at 15:00.
