UFC champion and actor Oleg Taktarov expressed the view that modern Hollywood makes good films only if they are dedicated to the life of the inhabitants of this area of Los Angeles, and cited Quentin Tarantino’s film “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” in 2019 as an example.
“To make a big good movie, you need to live not only in Hollywood,” said Taktarov, who is referred to by aif.ru.
The actor said that many actors and Hollywood filmmakers have not seen life outside of Hollywood in the fourth or fifth generation.
Taktarov agreed with the thesis that Hollywood is becoming obsolete, saying that South Korean films win prizes at festivals, Turkish TV series, Indian and Chinese cinema are gaining popularity.
