A realtor from Khabarovsk was chosen as “Queen of the Far East”

A resident of Khabarovsk became the winner of the regional beauty contest “Queen of the Far East.” From several dozen women, the jury chose the one who would represent the region at the all-Russian contest “Mrs. Russia of the World.”

The jury named real estate specialist and founder of a charitable foundation Elena Nagovitsyna as the best of the best, but social media users criticized the judges’ choice. Negative comments are multiplying on the competition page, in which citizens, at a minimum, express their doubts, and at maximum, speak rather offensively about the winner’s appearance and even suspect corruption. Some allow themselves to insult women.

“How much does it cost to win a beauty contest?”, “Whose wife is this?”, “Lyubov Uspenskaya on minimum wage”, “My God…” – say the most neutral comments.

Under earlier publications of the competition organizers talking about other contestants, comments also appear that are dissatisfied with the jury’s decision: users believe that this or that girl is more beautiful than the winner. At the same time, there were those who stood up for Elena, noting her charm and charm, as well as her active life position. Some users also admitted that not all beauty pageant participants ultimately agree to the title, because it places further responsibility on the contestant and is always associated with scandals and hassle.

“You still haven’t understood that beauty is inside, not outside,” another user reasoned with critics.

The newly minted beauty queen herself does not react to the attacks of ill-wishers and is preparing for the next competition.
