Obninsk volleyball players became first in the federal rankings

Obninsk volleyball players took the top of the updated ranking of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation.
As the regional Ministry of Sports explained on Friday, October 6, the points scored in international competitions were burned. These points were taken into account in the VFW ranking.
As a result, two players of the Obninsk volleyball club are now at the top of the men’s ranking – Igor Velichko and Maxim Sivolap. The fifth and sixth positions are also occupied by Obninsk beach swimmers – Dmitry Veretyuk and Alexey Arkhipov, who took fourth place in the final of the Russian Championship.
“We congratulate our athletes,” summed up the Ministry of Sports of the Kaluga Region.
