Sports drinks for young athletes will be produced by a company from the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. The development with an original recipe is also suitable for adults who experience increased physical activity.
“The company’s products, which specialize in preventive, therapeutic and sports nutrition, are science-intensive and high-tech. The enterprise has modern production that meets international industry standards, as well as its own scientific base,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy. He clarified that the product recipe was developed jointly with the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Federal Research Center for Nutrition and Biotechnology”. Experts believe that the new product can be recommended for teenagers from 11 to 18 years old. The product is similar to a milkshake, but contains minimal fat and a large amount of protein. The first batch is already being tested at the FMBA of Russia.
According to the General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, Gennady Degtev, the company’s specialists for the first time created a line specifically for teenagers. It has no officially confirmed analogues on the domestic market. The company produces over 50 types of products on an area of 1.2 thousand sq.m. In the first quarter of this year, the company produced 100 thousand units of the product, which is twice as much as in the same period last year. More than 50 jobs are open in production.
