Almost all hotels in the Moscow region are booked for the November holidays. As the Association of Tour Operators of Russia told Kommersant FM, only 5% of hotel rooms are now available, and we are mainly talking about hotels that are located 100 km from Moscow.

“Kommersant FM” called four-five star hotels near Moscow and asked what accommodation options were available for the long weekend. It turned out that three days in a double room will cost at least 60 thousand rubles, the price includes a holiday program.
Park Hotel Zvenigorod: “The cost of living in an improved standard in the main building is 72 thousand rubles. A good one-room family room will cost 69 thousand rubles. All other options are sold out from November 3rd to 6th. We will have a fire show, fireworks and performances by the cover band “Moscow Deluxe”. The festive program is scheduled for every day, in particular, there will be an evening interactive show at the Palisade restaurant, and then karaoke.”
Hotel Tsargrad: “Everything is already fully booked until November 7, starting from an improved standard for 14.4 thousand rubles. and ending with a family two-room suite for 21.4 thousand rubles.”
Long holidays make up a significant part of the income of Moscow region hotels during the off-season, said Sofrino Park general manager Yulia Tereshchenko: “Bookings at our hotels are now very active.
For the November holidays, occupancy is 85-90%; 20% of bookings have appeared in the last week.
During the off-season, such long weekends are especially important for hotels near Moscow, since the occupancy rate drops relative to the summer period. Selling the package is more expensive, as is organizing a more interesting animation program. The cost increases in our case by about 10% relative to regular weekends. Guests are also actively purchasing spa services from hotels.”
Earlier, Kommersant FM found out that the most popular cities for holidays during the November holidays are St. Petersburg and Moscow. Tours to Sochi, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Tula and Pskov are also in demand.
