Norway expects EU crisis to worsen due to gas price ceiling

According to CNN, Norway’s Deputy Oil and Energy Minister Andreas Eriksen has predicted that the energy crisis in Europe will worsen after the European Union imposes a ceiling on gas prices.
“Setting a gas price limit will not affect its deficit in any way, and will help find a solution to this problem … On the contrary, the demand for gas will only grow,” the cabinet member believes.
According to Eriksen, such an ill-conceived policy will lead to the fact that the EU authorities will be forced to tighten restrictive measures.
