Nizhny Novgorod hockey club “Torpedo” lost in a shootout to the hockey players of Cherepovets “Severstal”. The final score is 5:4 (2:1, 1:2, 1:1, 0:0 – extra time, 2:1 – shootouts).
The match turned out to be really tense, with a double-edged game from both teams.
Torpedovtsy managed to open an account in the match already in the 7th minute of the first period – Orlov completed the transfer and Kovalenko scored the first goal of the match!

Almost immediately, “Severstal” again made a draw – Petunin beat with a partner from behind the gate, then Vovchenko rolled to the rescue, and together they managed to beat Kulbakov!
Extra time did not bring goals and the winner of the match had to be determined in a shootout, in which luck was on the side of Severstal – the score on shootouts was 2:1. The final score of the match is 5:4.
Torpedo ends the away series of games on January 12 with a match against the Sochi club.
