Nizhny Novgorod athletes won three medals at the Russian Orienteering Championship

The Russian Orienteering Championship was held in Penza. At the start of the relay went: Andrey Ukhvanov, Ksenia Penzina, Svetlana Mironova and Pavel Egorov. Athletes brought 3 medals to the team.

Pavel Egorov from Dzerzhinsk, at a distance from the general start, won 1 second from the nearest pursuer and became the champion of Russia for the first time.

In the women’s group, Svetlana Mironova showed a good result, she became the second, losing only 2 seconds in the finish line.

After the third stage, the Nizhny Novgorod team took 3rd place, but thanks to the excellent result of Svetlana Mironova, it broke into 1st place in its segment of the distance, leaving behind the teams from the Novgorod region and St. Petersburg.
