The Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation collects lists of candidates for the national teams of Russia, the nearest reserve, as well as the coaching staff to form a register of persons not subject to mobilization.
“We are preparing a single list for the Ministry of Sports, it will include athletes-candidates for the Russian national team and their coaches. Everyone understands everything: athletes should think about training and prepare, and not about whether they will be called to the draft board or not, ”one of the leaders of the sports federation told Match TV.
Earlier, MK wrote that some athletes, coaches and technical staff of the national teams in some sports received subpoenas as part of partial mobilization. The same documents were handed over to other athletes not included in the national teams.
