State Duma deputy Oleg Nilov nevertheless commented on his joke about the boy Vova from Kyiv, to whom he promised rockets as a gift for the New Year, RIA Novosti reports. According to him, he meant a specific “Vovochka” – Zelensky.
On Wednesday, deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation took part in the charity event “Wish Tree”. Nilov plucked a ball from the Christmas tree and “read”: “The boy Vova from Kyiv dreams of rockets.” To this he said: “Vova, you will get rockets, wait.”
Nilov immediately said that this was a joke, but added: “no comment.”
Not everyone understood his joke. Now he nevertheless decided to comment on what was said: “Naturally, the specific boy Vovochka Zelensky was meant,” the agency quotes him.
Nilov added that “only Vovochka Zelensky from Kyiv asks him to send missiles. This is such an impromptu thing that there is such a “bad boy”.
The deputy also said that as part of the action, he actually got a “ball of a girl from the DPR”, who made a wish – to receive a smart watch as a gift.
“I said: of course, I will be in the DPR, I will definitely find it, hand it over, and congratulate,” the deputy said.
