The poet Nikolai Dobronravov, who died on September 17 at the age of 94, was buried at the Novodevichy cemetery.
The ceremony was attended by his widow, composer Alexandra Pakhmutova, as well as relatives and friends, including singers Lev Leshchenko, Yulian, and actor Stanislav Sadalsky.
As the MK correspondent reports, when the workers began to cover the coffin with earth, Alexandra Pakhmutova clarified whether they had left a place for her.
“I’m only a year younger than Kolya. So I’ll need it. I don’t need a lot of space, I’m not that fat. Just a piece,” she said.
Earlier, a civil memorial service was held at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow. The funeral service took place in the main church of the Sretensky Monastery.
