Nikolai Baskov received a 3D copy of himself in order to sew a dream costume for his last year’s anniversary. This was told by stylist Ekaterina Erdman, who works with many stars.

As the specialist said, Nikolai decided to get a jacket created in one of the most closed private ateliers in Milan. Here they sew clothes on an individual order for representatives, so to speak, of the world establishment of the highest level. Moreover, the record in the studio for years to come, and the cost of clothes reaches several million in terms of our money. However, this fact did not scare the artist, but he could not wait a few years. Then the stylist had to raise all his connections in order to find a free window for the Russian artist.

“In the atelier, the customer’s body is literally measured by a millimeter, even the structural features of the muscles and their work are taken into account. We were already ready to go, but faced the problem of canceling direct flights to Europe. Nikolay had a very tight schedule, which did not allow him to fly with several transfers to Milan. I started looking for a way out of the situation and found it quite by accident. I met specialists from the sports medicine center who study the body and draw up a rehabilitation program using 3D scanning. And we decided to clone Baskov in 3D. This was done in a special laboratory, where he was hung with sensors and asked to move for 30 minutes as he does on stage. The result is a perfect cloned Basque. This option of fitting suited Italian designers, and they created ideal patterns, according to which they then sewed a jacket, ”said Ekaterina.
