According to the data provided, as of the morning of September 20, heating was turned on in 78% of residential buildings in Moscow. Specialists of the urban complex continue to carry out work to turn on the heating. This was announced by the deputy mayor of the capital for housing and communal services and improvement Peter Biryukov.
“As of 10:00 on September 20, heating was turned on in 78 percent of residential buildings and more than 97 percent of socially significant facilities,” the vice mayor said.
In addition, Biryukov stressed that the work to turn on the heating takes up to five days. At the beginning, the heat goes to social institutions, houses and office buildings, and then to trade and industry enterprises.
It is worth noting that this year the heating season in the capital began ahead of schedule due to a sharp cold snap.
