Newsweek: Ukraine’s energy infrastructure could be destroyed by the end of the year

According to representatives of the organization, if the shelling continues, the country’s energy infrastructure will be completely destroyed over the next few weeks.
“In the near future, power outages in Ukraine may not last for hours and days, but much longer – for weeks,” said Mercy Corps spokesman Michael Young.
He clarified that with such a development of events, many cities of Ukraine “will become uninhabitable” due to low temperatures.
