State Duma deputy from United Russia Sultan Khamzaev appealed to the governors with a request to prohibit officials, taking into account the current situation in the country and in the world, from traveling abroad for the New Year holidays. Parliamentarians believe that officials should have a rest in Russia.
Departure abroad, according to the State Duma, can only be associated with matters of national importance.
In other cases, officials should be focused on the development of regions, domestic tourism and “support for our fighters.”
