In Moscow hospitals, holiday events already beloved by children have begun: “New Year’s Landing” and “Kind Christmas Tree of the Mayor of Moscow.”
“Unfortunately, not everyone can celebrate the New Year at home surrounded by loved ones; some must spend the winter holidays in hospital wards. It is very important for us that children who will spend the eve and New Year itself away from home feel our care and attention,” said Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakova. She clarified that this year the traditional “Good Christmas Tree of the Mayor of Moscow” will be held in 22 children’s hospitals. Children will enjoy theatrical performances, games around the Christmas tree, an animation program and master classes. Children will receive over 7.5 thousand gifts. In addition, until December 29, an unusual landing party of Santa Clauses and Snow Maidens will visit five hospitals. The wizards will land on the roofs and, using climbing equipment, will go down and greet the children through the windows of the hospital wards. This year, the “New Year’s Landing” will land on the roofs of: Children’s City Clinical Hospital named after. BEHIND. Bashlyaeva, SPC Med. helping children named after V.F. Voino-Yasenetsky, Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Traumatology, MMKTs “Kommunarka” and Morozov Children’s City Clinical Hospital. Let us note that for children who, for health reasons, will not be able to attend the performances, congratulations will be organized in the wards, and clinic staff will give gifts to those who are in isolation and diagnostic boxes.
