New GPT-4 language model released

American developer of OpenAI introduced a new generation of natural language processing algorithm – GPT-4. It is already integrated into ChatGPT. The new model can accept not only input in the form of text, the possibilities for receiving pictures are being tested.
GPT Technology became popular in 2020 when the GPT-3 language model was introduced. The algorithm can answer many questions, compose poetry, news articles and financial reports, write program code, and much more. A new round of interest in the project was associated with launch in November 2022 ChatGPT chatbot based on GPT-3.5.
The developers promise that the new version is more creative and more reliable to use. It is claimed to outperform GPT-3.5 by 40% on internal estimates of factuality or validity. The propensity of the neural network for prohibited content is reduced by 82%.
The GPT-4 model is now available for users with a ChatGPT Plus subscription. OpenAI does not exclude that in the future it will open access for users without subscriptions. Microsoft has said that their Bing browser is already running on GPT-4.
