The Sevastopol Maritime Museum-Aquarium, where more than 800 inhabitants died during the storm, will be given 60 specimens of rare tropical fish from the Alushta Aquarium, writes RIA News.
Let us remind you that the aquarium building was badly damaged due to the hurricane that hit the peninsula.
“We will give 60 specimens of rare tropical fish to our Sevastopol colleagues. This is a gesture of friendship and a helping hand to colleagues who suffered from the disaster,” the organization said.
It is worth noting that a similar tragedy happened in the Yalta crocodilarium several years ago, and then the inhabitants also had to be rescued.
The intention to donate new wards to the Sevastopol Aquarium was also previously announced by Moskvarium.
