Neo-Nazi association “Nevograd” * included in the list of banned organizations

The neo-Nazi association “Nevograd”, also known under other names, is included in the list of organizations banned in our country by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. Such information was published in the corresponding updated official list on the website of the department on Friday, November 25.
Members of this group committed crimes of varying severity against foreign citizens. The association was once headed by such neo-Nazis as Alexei Voevodin, German Wengerveld, Dmitry Borovikov and others. They have either already been prosecuted or have died. For example, Dmitry Borovikov was killed by operatives during his arrest on May 18, 2006. He was accused of assaulting persons of non-Slavic appearance, in particular a Chinese man, who was stabbed in the back.
In paragraph 101 of the register, you can find the following clarification about the organization recognized as an extremist: “Unregistered public association Nevograd* (other names: Nevagrad*, Nevograd-2*, BTO-Nevograd*, First Line Nevograd” *, “Nevograd first line”*, “Nevograd Fest Line”*, “FirstLineNevograd”* The organization was included in this document by decision of the St. Petersburg City Court of October 25 and after an appeal ruling.
The Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia said that neo-Nazi groups operating under the listed names had been operating in St. Petersburg for a long time. Their members committed “violent crimes against foreign citizens and persons of various nationalities, religions and races.”
