Nebenzya: Russia will take retaliatory steps against Western attempts to inflict a strategic defeat on the Russian Federation
The West seeks to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, which requires the top leadership of the Russian Federation to take the necessary steps in response, including in the military sphere. Such a statement was made by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the NGO Vasily Nebenzya during a speech at a meeting of the Security Council of the organization.
According to him, reciprocal steps will be taken to ensure the security of the Union State of Russia and Belarus.
“Against the background of NATO’s openly declared desire to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, it is obvious that such actions require us to take all the necessary response steps, including in the military sphere,” Nebenzya said.
In addition, during his speech, he noted that Russia, by its decision to deploy tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus, did not violate international agreements.
