Nazarov’s poem about Crocus was not understood in Russia

Actor Dmitry Nazarov was called upon to be deprived of the title of People’s Artist because of a post about Crocus

Actor Dmitry Nazarov, who left Russia with his wife and colleague Olga Vasilyeva after the start of the SVO, again gave rise to criticism at home. In the last two years, the artist has often commented on topical events in Russia and statements by media personsmoreover, in poetry, which often did not find a response from the patriotic public.

Nazarov’s new poem was published a day after the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall, in which the actor ridiculed those compatriots who call for lifting the moratorium on the death penalty.

“We love death. We are hungry for death. Save us, God, God. We even turn mourning into a reason to bless executions in Rus’,” Nazarov says in the video.

After the publication on the social network, a considerable number of indignant users came to the artist, who began to shame him, insult him and urge him to “get treatment.” At the same time, the actor’s fans thanked him for his civic position and the courage to express it. Meanwhile, in real life there were again calls to punish Nazarov. So, RT published materialin which he gave the floor to the Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation Ivan Solovyov, and he called for depriving Nazarov of the title of People’s Artist.

“The hour of truth has struck for those who left Russia,” the lawyer threatened.

He motivated his dissatisfaction with Nazarov by the fact that he grieves and condemns the terrorist attack differently from what Solovyov expected.

“A person is obliged to sharply condemn this inhuman terrorist act,” the RT guest explained his demands. “Without allegories, allegories, or allusions.”

Soloviev added that if a person in the context of Crocus does not behave as he indicated, “or the person remains silent, then he is a priori indifferent or supports terrorists.” The lawyer further recalled that there is an article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for “justifying terrorism”, and called for making everyone who may fall under it involved in criminal cases. If a person has not committed a crime under this article, it is still necessary to “create a list of such persons” and give their words a “state public moral assessment,” concluded the Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation.
