Ukraine will receive winter uniforms for the military from NATO, reports spiegel.de with reference to the representative of the North Atlantic Alliance.
As specified, we are talking, among other things, about uniforms, shoes and insulated tents.
According to the publication, due to the insufficient amount of materials from NATO, uniforms will not be delivered in full.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov appealed to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg with a request to provide winter uniforms and insulated tents in July, the newspaper reports. As specified, it was about uniforms for 200,000 soldiers.
The request will be satisfied by almost 50 percent, an alliance spokesman said.
