On Saturday, April 8, a ballroom dance festival will take place in the concert hall of the Arktika Palace of Culture. This year, at the invitation of the Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug Yuri Bezdudny, the guests of the festival will be world champions and multiple champions of Russia in dance sports – athletes of the ensemble of the dance and sports club “Duet”.
– Within the framework of the festival “Rhythms of the Arctic” there will be demonstration performances of athletes from the ensemble of the dance and sports club from Perm. Spectators will be able to watch the performances of world-famous sports dance stars for free, the organizers of the festival share.
The district’s ballroom dancing groups will take part in the competitive program: the Arktika ballroom dance studio and the Dance with me dance studio. Children and young people aged from five to eighteen years old will compete in dance and sports art, the portal of state bodies of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug reports. Also, the leading artists of the club “Duet” will hold on Friday, April 7, master classes and seminars with the participants of the festival. The competition program will start at 14:00.
