At 15:00 Moscow time on Sunday, the largest turnout in the elections of the highest official of the region was recorded in the Tambov region. It amounted to 49.63 percent. In the elections to the legislative assembly of the subject, 50.01% were registered in North Ossetia-Alania. These are the data of the information center of the CEC of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, the head of the CEC of Russia, Ella Pamfilova, launched the counting of the first votes of the Single Voting Day. This happened at the information center of the Central Election Commission. The first region was the Kamchatka Territory.
Pamfilova also recommends not summing up the results of the elections of heads of subjects and legislative assemblies of regions before September 14, 2022. According to her, this is done so that the Central Election Commission has time to consider all the complaints received. As the chairman of the Russian Central Election Commission added, in order to apply to the appropriate commission, if someone has serious grounds, “there is quite enough time until Wednesday.”
