According to the critic, Joseph Kobzon and Nikolai Noskov never sang to a soundtrack. Today, it is difficult to find artists who do not resort to gimmicks, he noted.

Among the “living” artists who are actively performing today and can do this without a soundtrack, Babichev singled out Oleg Gazmanov, Alexei Chumakov, Soso Pavliashvili and Leonid Agutin.

Sergei Lazarev, Alexander Panayotov and Lolita also sing well live, the critic added. However, he did not guarantee that their performance was live from beginning to end.
